There are lots of reasons to choose organic skin care.  Besides using products that are made with Mother Nature's well being in mind, caring for your skin with organically is affordable, effective and gentle on your skin.

When you care for your skin organically there are several options.  Many companies now incorporate organic skin care products into their skin care lines.  There are also companies that have been around for years that focus on providing all natural, organic skin care products for reasonable prices.

If you really want to avoid costs and potentially irritating ingredients you need to look no further than your fridge and kitchen pantry.  What you don't already have you can find at the local grocery store.

The Essentials for Organic Skin Care

There are a few ingredients that are staples in caring for your skin organically.  Oatmeal for oily skin; milk for a cleanser; milk with oatmeal makes a great cleanser; wheat germ for exfoliation and moisturizing; honey for retaining moisture; and a mixture of lavender oil and water is a great toner or pick me up spritzer for the face.

Also pay attention to what you are putting into your body. Choose fresh, organic foods.  Fruits, vegetables, lean meats, whole grains and a lot of water.  When you avoid putting toxins from processed and refined foods into your body you are caring for your skin from the inside out.
