Counter Top

Faucet Mounted Filters
Faucet mounted filters attach directly to your faucet and allows you to filter water straight from the tap. There’s usually a mechanism on the system that allows you to switch off the filtration when it isn’t needed, so you don't waste your filter when you just want regular water. These filters are pretty small.

Under the Sink Filters
These systems are similar to the faucet-mounted ones, in that they only service a single sink in your house. But, they install under the sink to the cold water pipe under your sink. With this system, the filtered water must come in through a separate faucet. You can get sink systems that use regular filters, or systems that use reverse-osmosis filters, which are very slow and use lots of water, but are able to filter out dissolved minerals. Installation of sink systems usually requires a plumber. The filters are usually larger and will last longer than counter top or faucet mounted filters.

Shower and Bath Filters

These filters systems are installed at the water source for your house. By attaching a filtration system to your water main, your entire house receives filtered water. This type of system helps to protect not only your washing machine and dishwasher from the sediment that may be in your water system, but your whole body including shower & bath water, drinking & cooking water, water for pets, plants, etc. Installation usually requires a plumber.
